EMT CERT
Become the calm in the chaos. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course prepares you to provide lifesaving care and respond confidently in emergency situations. Through classroom instruction, hands-on training, clinical experiences, and ambulance ride-alongs, you’ll gain the skills needed to make a difference when every second counts.
Students complete 70 hours of classroom instruction, 60 hours lab trainig, 18 hours of hospital clinical experience, and 12 hours of ambulance ride time. Students who earn a greade of 80% or higher are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) examinations. Participants must be at least 17 years old and meet all clinical participation requirements.
